The final 24 contestants
Tonight, on American Idol we find out who the final 24 contestants are. It has been narrowed down to 12 men and 12 women. Katherine’s one of the first to find out she goes to the final 24 and is so happy she kisses Simon, Paula, and “luscious lips” Randy. Mandisa tells Simon she’s forgiven him and even hugs him twice – after her speech and after she finds out she’s in the final 24. Eugenia seemed inconsolable when told she was going home, but later turned street in the elevator, talking trash. 16-year-old Lisa moves on, despite Simon’s reservations about her age and crooner David makes it as well. With the Brittenum twins facing jail time, all the drama now is now left to Brenna, who makes the final cut. Good thing the judges had already made their decision on Gedeon before he let loose his egotistical rant. Finally, much to Simon’s dismay, “GRAY” Charles moves on…playing his harmonica along the way.
