The Final 24
Tonight was the big night – who would make it on television and who wouldn’t. I was glad to see one of my favorites, Sanjaya, was first and I didn’t have to wait long to hear he made it through. Both the backup singers made it through as did Gina (ugh) and Haley. Philip, the dad who missed his baby’s birth, got through as well. One of my other favorites, Chris, who is not only funny, but can also sing, made it – yeah! His groupmates Blake and Rudy made it, but Thomas was sent packing. Anna, the giraffe girl, was also sent home. Nick, who bowed out last year, made it this year. Lakisha, the single mom from NY, made it – I like her.
Of course, they played up the drama by bringing it down to the last two guys and the last two girls and bringing them both in the room at the same time. It was down to Marisa and Antonella. Antonella was chosen, but she tried to remain calm while Marisa just fell apart. The final guys were Sundance and Tommy. I think the judges made a mistake here – they those Sundance. My husband and I were both hoping they would pick Tommy, but I guess we will see how Sundance does.
