THE FINAL FOUR
Well, what can I say, it seems to me the judges have found someone new to pick on and that someone is Monique. Folks, Monique is the only amateur female left, and how many times do we have to say that the female is the one on whom the whole dance is focused. She is doing steps that are three times as difficult as the men, and not really getting the credit she deserves. Her footwork is intricate, and she is definitely a star on the rise.
Just for the heck of it, don’t pay any attention to the almost there costumes worn by the professional female dancers, and concentrate on the footwork of the amateur males. Only Mario, and sometimes Emmitt exhibit any degree of proficiency. Joey, Joey, Joey - both of the dances you did this evening, the paso and the tango, were interchangeable, you couldn’t tell where one stopped and the other began. That is of course if you were watching Joey and not the dominatrix costumes worn by Edyta! That said, the judges love Joey and he will probably advance. Emmitt is one class act. Each week he gives it all he has. It goes without saying that Mario has the stage presence and charisma necessary to win the championship. That and the fact that he’s the best male dancer out there.
My prediction is that Monique will be the one voted off, although in reality I think Joey should be the one to leave. (I’m saying Monique, because I voted for her, and that usually is a kiss of death for a contestant.)
