The Ghouls Come Out at Night
The Halloween special held few scares for us. We saw the contestants do a ballroom and a Latin dance tonight. I thought Mario was the best of the night – especially his second dance. Len said it didn’t flow, but Carrie Ann and Bruno disagreed with him, giving Mario and Karina a 10. Mario’s first dance was different – very emotional.
Joey did well tonight, but he is still overshadowed by Mario. I liked his first dance, but the music (the theme to “The Addams Family” was just a weird choice). I think most people – at least the men – had a hard time judging his second dance because they were all too busy looking at Edyta and that outfit!
I didn’t care for either of Monique’s dances. The first one seemed stiff and her second dance was too loose, but the judges loved it. In fact, Len and Bruno both gave her a 10.
Emmitt…I loved his first dance (he seemed so light on his feet), but the second one – wow. I don’t quite understand why Carrie Ann gave him a 9, but I loved when Len said he wished he could give him an 11!
There is only one point separating Emmitt and Monique, so I honestly don’t know who will go home tomorrow night. I don’t see Joey leaving before the final and Mario leaving is almost an impossibility. I’d rather see Emmitt stay for an all-male semi-final next week.
