The New Faces of America’s Top Model 9
Tyra Bank’s will be back as a host of America’s Next Top Model as the hit reality show about model search will begin in September 19. The reality show will have 13 contestants, one less than that highest number of contestants which is 14. The CW has already given us the name, pictures and profile of the candidates that are aged from 18-22 years old. The contestants are:
- Saleisha, 21, receptionist from Los Angeles, CA
- Sarah, 20, student from Heath, MA
- Victoria, 20, student from New Haven, CT
- Ambreal, 19, student from Dallas, TX
- Bianca, 18, student from Queens, NY
- Chantal, 19, student from Austin, TX
- Kimberly, 20, student from Ocala, FL
- Lisa, 20, dancer from Jersey City, NJ
- Mila, 20, a recent college graduate from Boston, MA
- Ebony, 20, a nursing student from Chicago, IL
- Heather, 21, student from Valparaiso, IN
- Janet, 22, aesthetician from Bainbridge, GA
- Jenah, 18, student from Farmington, CT
Instead of following the usual two-hour special for the latest season, the show will only run for only one hour. They will also now only show the process of selecting the candidates as well as some of the amusing takes on the process of selecting the finalist for the show.
We were anticipating some life changing rules on the show as Tyra announced in “The Tyra Banks Show” but apparently there’s none. The only thing that’s quite different from this show is that most of the candidates are from the northern part of the country – at least six are from the northern part of the country.
Even though there’s not drastic change for the show, it’s going to be another ride for the viewers as the finalist slug it out in front of the photographers, runways, and critics.
