The New Team
I’ve written bad things about the Red Team girls in past blogs. I’ve thought maybe I was judging them too harshly, but tonight they proved me wrong. They talked trash about the new team – the new team that was #1 and #2 in total weight loss percentage. Yes, the new team had lost more weight than anyone at the ranch. Adrian had lost 53 pounds and Jaron had lost 52 pounds – on their own at home.
I also felt Bob and Kim were harsh on the new people. Bob even said “Erik, Marty, and Bobby deserve to stay here – everyone else can go home.” Kim all but threatened Adrian, but then I guess training is their livelihood. Heather said the new people made her look bad – duh, you think Heather? Adrian even said the workout wasn’t as intense as she had expected it to be. Jaron seemed to fit into the ranch lifestyle easier than Adrian, but in the end, they both did okay, losing a combined total of 14 pounds. The team of Marty and Wylie (who won a plasma television and a year’s subscription to NetFlix in the challenge) lost 10 pounds, which I was afraid would not be enough to save them. Erik was the big surprise – he lost 20 pounds. And even Kai put up a good number with 7. The surprise was Bobby and Heather. Bobby was homesick and lost only 3 pounds. Heather felt Bobby was a threat and decided to gain 4 pounds to send him home. She thinks that the state of Utah will be proud of her if she wins. I think they might be more proud if she just did what she was supposed to and LOST WEIGHT, but that is just me.
So with a minus 1-pound weight loss, the elimination was between Heather and Bobby. Jaron and Adrian voted for Bobby (apparently they didn’t get a chance to learn enough about Heather). Kai seemingly gave Erik no choice but to vote for Bobby and he was send packing. He lost an additional 21 pounds since leaving for a total of 94 pounds.
I really do NOT want to see Heather or Kai win this competition. I am sick of both of them. They are fake and conniving. I’d much rather see one of the guys like Wylie, Marty, or even Erik win.
