The Real Housewives of Orange County: Welcome Quinn!
Tonight’s big news was the addition of a new housewife – Quinn! Quinn is a single mom of two (her youngest son in a junior in high school) who likes dating younger men. However, when we met her date Billy, I thought he looked older. Come to find out – he is! Billy, the golf pro, is 40 years old. But, Quinn is 52, so he is still younger than she is. Not as young however, as another date – Jarod, who is 26 years old! Quinn ran in the same circle as Jeana and the two got together with the other girls at the end of the episode. When Vicki asked if Jarod was her son, Quinn remarked the other housewives could be a bit catty. You think?
We saw Tamra working at her real estate job. I want the house that comes with the Ferrari! We also saw Ryan work – finally. But, he complained about his $10/hour parts job at Simon’s Mercedes dealership. He said he didn’t go to school to pick parts, but he didn’t seem to mind sitting on his butt at home.
Jeana and Colton went to Vancouver to see Shane play baseball. Colton even got to take batting practice with the team. But, typical Colton, he said he’d like to improve his baseball skills so he could “pass” Shane.
Vicki’s son Michael thinks he would like to work in the real estate business, but he couldn’t work much as an intern because Vicki was constantly bothering him. Then, they took a boat tour where Vicki said she was worried about Michael’s drinking – right before she took a shot!
Finally, we saw Lauri and Ashley go to look at wedding dresses. Ashley wants to be the maid of honor, but Lauri wanted her sister to do it. The dresses Lauri tried on were beautiful, but they should have been – one cost $18,000!

I’m a Real Housewives fan, too! I can’t say I like Quinn… she is a little too full of herself, and the “cougar” thing is really lame, IMO.
Also, Michael is thinking about getting into the insurance biz like his mom, not the real estate biz (however, if he said he wanted to get into real estate, I must have missed it, so my apologies).
And I definitely think the $18K dress was the most beautiful for Lauri! I can’t wait to see what she wears.

I don’t understand the whole deal with housewives. I’ve been a housewife for what seems like forever now. I have maids, but I still enjoy being home with the children.
