The Red Team Loses It!
Okay, I am so angered by tonight’s episode. But I digress…
First of all, the blue team still seemed dejected from last week’s loss. The teams were told they were going out into the real world – on a cruise! Although I am not certain I’d want to go on a cruise where I couldn’t pig out!
The competition was to deliver food to someone on the ship. The kicker was, the someone was a family member or friend of the person delivering the food. Brian is still injured, so Kai sat out for the red team. A few people got lost, but Heather seemed to totally lose it, running around screaming “Can anyone sign for this?” and rudely telling cruise passengers to get out of her way. But, the red team ended up winning. They only knew the prize would be “priceless” and it was – it was to spend time with whoever was there for them. The blue team was heartbroken for a second week in a row.
The weigh-in didn’t go so well for the red team. Apparently, seeing their loved ones made them workout less because the blue team beat them and by quite a bit (53 pounds to 29). This is the part I didn’t like. Ms. Pam “I’ve lost the least amount of weight on the red team” and Ms. Heather “I went crazy on the ship” decided the girls needed to stick together and kick off one of the guys. One of them asked Ken to vote off Wylie. So, at the meeting, Heather, Pam, and Kai all voted for Wylie. But the boys weren’t going out like that! They all voted for Pam. Now personally, I was really hoping she would leave, but it was up to the blue team to decide who left. They made a good choice, but one that seemed to shock everyone – they voted for Nelson. Of course, all the girls started crying. Why? Because they split their team in two and lost someone they didn’t want to see leave. I am SO angry with them – all three – that I could just spit right now.
After Nelson left, he lost an additional 13 pounds, so his total weight loss was 52 pounds, but I am sure he would have lost more if he had stayed on the show. I don’t know if the red team can get it back together after this.
