The Teams Are Gone

Wow, big twist tonight as the Red and Blue Teams were dissolved and there would be duos, of which one would leave tonight.  To decide who the duos were, contestants had to choose what was behind a numbered curtain.  Everyone else got food, but Wylie got the power to choose the teams.  Which I loved because the girls on the Red Team had treated him so badly in the past.

Wylie had to pair up one member from the Red Team and one from the Blue Team.  The wild card was Kai, who had the pass to save someone from elimination.  Wylie chose well – he paired Heather with Bobby, Pam with Brian, Kai with Erik, and himself with Marty. Pam started crying because she’s the weakest link – no wait, that is another show.  But, so far, Brian had had the largest weight loss percentage and she had had the lowest, so she felt like she’d bring him down.

The challenge was for a duo to hold us a pole as long as they could.  It came down to Pam and Brian and Wylie and Marty.  Marty tried to hold it on his own so Wylie could rest, but he dropped it and Pam and Brian won.  The prize was a video call from home.

At the weigh-in, the two teams who lost the lowest percentage could be sent home.  Pam lost 4 pounds and Brian lost 6 for a percentage of 2.19.  Wylie lost 6 and Marty lost 10 for 2.40%.  Kai lost 6, but Erik gained 3.  GAINED?  Yeah, Erik gained 3 pounds.  He knew he was safe because if they were the lowest team, Kai would save them with her pass.  Erik is no dummy.  Bobby lost 5 pounds and Heather lost 5 pounds, so that put Pam and Brian and Kai and Erik up for elimination.  Erik said he didn’t try to kill himself this week because of the pass.  Kai said if she found that out, she just night go home herself just to take Erik with her, but it was just talk.  She chose to use the pass on her duo and Pam and Brian were eliminated. Personally, I was glad to see Pam leave.  She did nothing but whine and moan and lose the least amount of weight.  However, I was sad to see Brian go.  But man, when they showed his update!  He has lost a total of 118 pounds and totally looked like a different man.  Honestly, I started watching it and thought it was one of the at home players named Brian – it didn’t even look like him anymore!

Now, another twist was the six remaining contestants found out that the top three males and the top three females that were sent home during the first show are back and two will replace the duo of Pam and Brian.  Kai and Heather, as expected, were rude saying, “no, we don’t want them” but you know what?  Most of those people have lost WAY more than both of them at home – almost completely on their own.  I think they deserve to be on the show as much if not more than Kai and Heather!
