The Top Chef Reunion Show

Tonight we were treated to the new standard in reality television – the reunion show. There are so many things I could talk about, but for the sake of time and space I’ll limit my comments to a few.

First, what was it with Tiffani’s pink pants? Way too distracting. I know pink clashes with most red heads when you wear it on top, so maybe she thought wearing it on the bottom would be ok? Who knows. Poor style choice.

Second, I think Lee Anne spent waaaaaay to much time in the tanning booth. I think she looked better without a tan.

Third, it sucks that Harold is not single. Not that I’d ever have the chance to meet him anyway.

Fourth, did it seem as if some of these contestants make a complete turnaround on their personalities? Stephen seemed to be almost tolerable. My gut tells me he watched himself on tv and read about himself in the blogs and figured it would be safer to play the nice guy rather than the arrogant self important person. And Tiffani leaving the set to go off and cry when everyone was bashing her? Is that a true glimpse into her personality, and the bitch is the façade, or vice versa?

Next, Dave is just too touchy feely emotional. Get over yourself. You need to go out there and kick some butt – you don’t think you’ll see Harold or Tiffani cry in the kitchen, do you? Keep the emotions in control.

I haven’t heard so many beeps on language since Madonna was on Letterman.

Finally, it seemed as if all the contestants really disliked (dare I say hate) Tiffani, all except Andrea that is. I guess you can’t have it both ways. You can’t say you’re there to prove you can cook and not make friends and get upset when people don’t like you.

I can’t wait until next week’s finale. My prediction is that Harold and Tiffani will make it past the first elimination and Harold will win it all. Then again if I could predict things like this I’d be betting all my money in Vegas.
