The Tough Competition Continues…
The contestants had to perform two dances tonight and I was certain it would do in poor Jerry, but he actually did well…other than the fact that he cannot shake his hips. But I think everyone knows as Carrie Ann put it, he’s just not up to the standards of the other dancers. Even though he did a great foxtrot (Bruno said he went from Fred Flintstone to Fred Astaire), I think we will see Jerry leave tomorrow night.
Joey and Monique really stepped up to the plate tonight; however, Mario and Emmitt were still hanging tough. Monique was consistent with two 27’s, while Joey posted a 28 and a 29. Emmitt’s waltz was a little boring, but that wasn’t his fault. Like he said, it is just a boring dance! But, he got a 28 for the waltz and a 29 for his mambo. The audience and I both thought he deserved a 30 for his mambo, but Bruno had to ruin it and give him a 9 (for which he was booed). Mario had a 27 and a 29, so all the scores are up there. I think it will be up to the viewing audience from now on to choose who stays and who goes.
