Top 3 Perform on American Idol

Tonight’s performances were on American Idol were outstanding. Each contestant is singing to make sure they can reach the finale next Tuesday night on Fox. The most original performance of the evening goes to Katharine McPhee with her performance of “Over the Rainbow”. That performance blew me away. It just goes to show you that you don’t have to go over the top when you are performing. A little bit goes a long way and Simon Cowell did a great job picking that song for Katharine.
The most fun performance of the evening goes to Taylor Hicks for his performance of “Dancing in the Dark”. That is just Taylor’s style and he sure showed it tonight.
Overall, I believe that Elliott did an outstanding job and deserves to be in the finale next week.
