Twelve to Eleven
The top twelve were cut down to eleven tonight. I was surprised that one of my pick’s for the bottom two was actually there. Ace, who I felt has not had it the last few weeks, was – shock – in the bottom three. As was Melissa and Lisa. I was certainly surprised that Kellie, my pick for worst singer last night, was not in the bottom three. All of North Carolina must have been voting for her. Lisa got stellar reviews by the judges, so I was a little surprised by her being in the bottom three (although I didn’t care much for her performance). And the loser is…Melissa. Poor Melissa, I think she got a bum rap just for forgetting the words to her song, but I guess that is show business.
Now for some Idol gossip. For those that missed Extra, it has been reported that Ace has been dating “Half & Half” actress Essence Atkins for more than a year. A little less shocking is the report that Taylor started going gray at age 15. I was appalled last night when Ryan asked if the stylists wanted to color his hair though! You look fine Taylor – don’t do it!
