Week 2 of Dancing with the Stars in Review
The first Dancing With the Stars elimination was Trista Sutter and her partner Louis van Amstel. Good choice; Trista was obviously uncomfortable and even though her partner was excellent, she came across as very stiff. What is this fascination the judges have for Rachel Hunter? Beautiful, yes; elegant, yes; but a good dancer NO! She did, however seem to be more comfortable this week than last. Just as the judges have been enamoured of Rachel, they are absolutely cruel to Kelly Monaco. She’s not a professional dancer, but she is out there trying a lot more than the other two female celebrities; and, the fans seem to agree. Go get em Kelly!
The fun couples to watch are the celebrity males; Evander gave it a champ’s try, but the quick step was not his cup of tea. Looked good in the tux with co-ordinating tie, though. Joey was great, he and Ashley looked as though they could take their dance on the road. But, the absolute stars of the evening were John and Charlotte. What a superb job they did! They were the total package last night and rightly deserve to be in the lead.
