Who will win the second half of the third leg on Amazing Race 9?
Anyone taking bets on tonight’s winners?
Tonight the teams are off to Germany where it looks like they get to race a Mercedes-Benz around a test track. I can only assume they are in Stuttgart or Sindelfingen at the MB factory. I gotta say I’m a bit jealous as you know running one of those cars flat-out has got to be a blast.
The frat-boys, Eric and Jeremy are in the lead but the looks on their faces when told to keep racing last week was priceless. Let’s see if their self-proclaimed ‘slacker’ inner-natures start to slow them down or not.
BJ and Tyler are right behind them and maybe this time BJ will actually speak German as he proclaimed in the pre-show interviews. He claimed to know a bit of Russian also but we didn’t see any evidence of it while they were in Moscow. If all goes well, it may be these language skills that let’s the hippies once again pass the frat-boys.
And let’s not forget the fact that Eric and Jeremy are focused a little too much on Dani and Danielle. I can’t say it’s a great race-strategy but the producers have to be happy as everyone knows sexual tension among shiny pretty people sells very well on television.
Maybe it’s time another team has a bit of luck and they pull in as tonight’s winners. Whichever team wins I think it’s safe to say this may be another elimination round. Evening up on the flight to Moscow saved Fran and Barry and they did fairly well in Chaika Bassein, but I’m willing to bet they haven’t been opening all of the dolls and will be stuck looking for the final clue for quite a bit. I won’t be surprised to again see them in last place at the end of tonight’s show. But perhaps they’ll get lucky and only be stripped of all of their money, etc.
Whoever wins and whoever is eliminated in this fourth episode and third leg of the Amazing Race 9 will soon be known - I’m just looking forward to another good episode.
