Yep, Eric and Jeremy win again and Lake and Michele are eliminated
Sure enough, Eric and Jeremy took first place and a trip to the red-carpet premiere of the DaVince Code starring Tom Hanks. Pretty cool. Win or lose it extends their fifteen minutes.
I think the teams had no less than four opportunities to even the timing, yet other than Eric and Jeremy there was finally some position-shifting. Ray and Yolanda came in second but suffered a penalty for not taking the train as instructed and had to wait fifteen minutes. In that wait, Joseph and Monica took second place with Ray and Yolanda in third. Fran and Barry took fourth position and BJ and Tyler managed to squeak by in fifth. It was down to the final minutes before Lake and Michelle were destined to arrive and the hippies were also penalized by the train incident. A lot of loud-dramatic-music-and-some-fancy-splicing-later, the hippies were in and the hot-headed Lake and pacifying Michelle were out.
I was glad to see Fran and Barry do well and make the right choice by working on the puzzle and not competing in Olympic-style games. It was also nice to see Ray and Yolanda do a bit better. I still like to think they could be a really strong team if they’d learn how to navigate and work a bit on their people skills. Unfortunately, the previews for the next episode drums up drama about them fighting. And it looks like the hippies are going to struggle in the desert heat. We shall see…
