Project Runway

Project Runway is a reality show which is aired in the United States via the Bravo network. It is a show which places an emphasis on fashion design. The participants who are mentored by Tim Gunn, must compete with each other to create the best fashion designs, and they are only given a set amount of time to complete these projects. Judges will be responsible for picking the best designs, and one contestant will be sent home on a weekly basis. The awards given to the winner have varied each season, but winners will generally be given the chance to start their own clothing lines or hair care products.

Heidi Klum is the primary host of Project Runway. She is also supported by a panel of judges which may include Nina Garcia and Michael Kors. The contestants will be given a fashion challenge, and they are given materials and resources for the task. They are also given a time limit, and a winner will be selected each week. While the prizes may vary slightly each season, a $100,000 cash prize is generally one of the primary awards, along with appearing in ELLE magazine.

Season Three of Project Runway

Heidi Klum appeared again as the judge in this season, which started in July of 2006. While the Banana Republic was the sponsor of the first two seasons, they were replaced by Macy's. The casting auditions took place in many Macy's stores around the United States. This season marked the first time that a contestant was asked to leave due to violating the rules. A reunion episode was also held in October, and Michael Knight was voted as the favorite designer, and he received $10,000 in cash. Jeffrey Sebelia was the winner of season 3, and he picked Marilinda Rivera as the model.

The second season of the show aired in the winter of 2005.
