The Bachelor
The Bachelor is a reality show that first aired on the ABC network in 2002. This show is one of the most successful reality shows on the network, and it has maintained a strong following to the present day. Chris Harrison has acted as the host throughout all the seasons. This show features a rich bachelor who is courted by a group of women. On each episode, one of the women will be eliminated, until only a few remain. Then they will go out on dates with the bachelor until only one remains, who it is thought will be the bachelor's future wife.

Season Ten of The Bachelor
The tenth season of The Bachelor was referred to as The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman because it featured Dr. Andy Baldwin, a Naval Officer. It premiered on April 2, 2007. Andy proposed to Tessa Horst, a social worker from San Francisco. Although Tessa said yes, the two called the engagement off a month after the finale. They are still dating.

Season Nine of The Bachelor
The 9th season of the show aired in October of 2006, taking place in Rome. The bachelor in season nine was Prince Lorenzo Borghese, who was 34 years old at the time. This show had an additional factor which made it distinct from previous seasons. Cosetta and Agnese, two beautiful Italian women, were added to the cast, and this increased friction between them and the other contestants. He eventually picked Jennifer, and this left Sadie heartbroken. However, the relationship between Lorenzo and Jennifer did not last, and then he dated Sadie, but their relationship did not grow.
Season Eight of The Bachelor
To spice things up a bit, the producers of season eight decided to have the show take place in Paris, France. The bachelor during this season was Dr. Travis Lane Stork, who was 33 years old when the show aired. At the end of the show, it was 26 year old Sarah Stone that he chose as his special love. A little more than a week after the season finale aired, the two announced that they were no longer together.
Season Seven of The Bachelor
The bachelor of season seven was Charlie O'Connell, who was an actor. He is the brother of Jerry O'Connell, and he has starred in Sliders, a television series. He has also appeared in movies such as The New Guy, and Dude, Where's My Car. At the conclusion of the show, he chose Sarah Brice.
Season Six of The Bachelor
This season featured Byron Velvick, who was an expert bass fisherman at the time the show aired. He was born in Nevada, and he is a graduate from UC Irvine having majored in English. He chose Mary Delgado, and unlike previous season, this couple has remained together, and they are engaged. He is the only bachelor to have this distinction so far.
Season Five of The Bachelor
This season of the show featured Jesse Palmer, who was a football player. He is a member of the Canadian Football League, and he plays as a backup quarterback. Season five aired in 2004. He finally selected Jessica Bowlin, but they continued the legacy of previous seasons by breaking up a few months after the show finished.
Season Four of The Bachelor
The fourth season featured Bob Guiney as the bachelor, and he is the founder of a mortgage company. Born in Michigan, Guiney is a graduate of Michigan State University, and he also played on the football team. In addition to appearing on The Bachelor, Guiney also appeared on The Bachelorette, but because he was not given a rose by Trista, NBC decided to put him in the other show. The woman he finally chose was Estella Gardinier. Like the previous season, this couple broke up shortly after the show ended.
Season Three of The Bachelor
Andrew Firestone was the bachelor for the third season. He is a sales manager that works on behalf of Firestone Family. During this season, he chose Jennifer Schefft, and despite the fact she was declared the winner, they decided to separate after the show aired. Jennifer would go on to star in The Bachelorette.
Season Two of The Bachelor
The Bachelor for the second season was Aaron Buerge, who is the Vice President of a chain of banking establishments. He was born in Butler, Missouri, and he graduated from the University of Missouri at Rolla, earning a degree in engineering. At the conclusion of season 2, he proposed to Helen.
Season One of The Bachelor
The Bachelor in season one was Alex Michel, who was a management consultant and a Harvard University graduate. Out of the 25 women who courted him, the woman he finally chose was Amanda Marsh.
