The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette is a spin-off of the popular ABC reality tv show The Bachelor. The basic format for this show is the same as The Bachelor, but the roles are reversed: Instead of a group of women competing for one man, a group of men are selected to compete for one woman. This series lasted from January 2003 until February of 2005. When it was first introduced, this show continued the legacy of The Bachelor, and it was quite popular among its target audience.
Season Four
Season Four is set to start on May 19, 2008. The Bachelorette for this season will be DeAnna Pappas.

Bachelorette Recaps
The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose
Posted: 28 Jul 2009
This final “Bachelorette” episode this season opened with Melissa, last year’s jilted “Bachelor” winner. She is now engaged and happy, but then you probably already knew that as she is in the news way more than Jason!
Kiptyn, who had never had his heart broken, came out and said that having his heart broken “sucks.” [...]
The Bachelorette: Jillian Accepts Ed’s Proposal
Posted: 27 Jul 2009
He was not one of the original “Bachelorette” contestants and he left midway through the show to return to work, but it is a good thing Ed came back because he is the lucky bachelor that won Jillian’s heart.
Kiptyn arrived first and I could just tell she was kicking him to the curb. He [...]
The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All Reunion
Posted: 21 Jul 2009
“The Bachelorette” reunion show didn’t disappoint me, although I cannot believe Wes didn’t show up for some more free self promotion! There was more talk of Tanner P’s foot fetish (Jillian wasn’t bothered by it and Juan admitted her feet were hot) and we got to see Ed drunk in Vancouver before the drama [...]
The Bachelorette: Jillian Sends Reid Home
Posted: 13 Jul 2009
This week’s “Bachelorette” was set in romantic Maui. Jillian went on dates with all three remaining guys – Ed, Reid, and Kiptyn – and chose to spend the night with each one in the fantasy suite.
But, she was disappointed in her night with Ed, which seemed weird. They had already spent one night together [...]
Season Three of The Bachelorette
The bachelorette for this season was Jennifer Schefft, who was selected by Andrew Firestone during the third season of the Bachelor, but broke up with him by the end of the show. During the final ceremony, she made a decision which had not yet been made in previous seasons: She turned down all the bachelor contestants.
Season Two of The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette for the second season was Meredith Phillips. She turned down Bob Guiney, who was the bachelor from season four, and she chose Ian McKee instead. However, the couple broke up by the beginning of 2005. It should be noted that Meredith was originally appeared in the fourth season of The Bachelor, but she was not chosen. Some say she got "revenge" on Bob by not choosing him when she was The Bachelorette.
Season One of The Bachelorette
The Bachelorette from the first season was Trista Rehn, who also appeared as a contestant in the first season of The Bachelor. She chose Ryan Sutter as her suitor, and the couple was married in a live television event in December of 2003. Their marriage was one of the most highly rated events on reality television. In addition to appearing on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Trista has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars and Fear Factor. She has gained a great deal of popularity in the reality show world.
